Past: Crisp Museum Hosting a LEGO Family Weekend Celebrating International LEGO Day, the 65th Anniversary of the Modern LEGO Brick.

Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus will celebrate a LEGO themed Family Weekend on January 28 & 29 with International LEGO Day, the 65th Anniversary of the Modern LEGO Brick.

The 28th of January marks the birthday of LEGO — the day when various designs of the brick were submitted to the Patent and Trademark office, is celebrated as International LEGO Day.

Come join the celebration. See what you can build with a LEGO brick, enjoy our LEGO models on display, try the challenge of finding all the LEGO mini’s in our Scavenger Hunt, or how high a tower of bricks can you build.

This free event is scheduled from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. both days and offers a weekend of LEGO themed activities with prizes being given away each hour. So, what can you do with a brick? Bricks are provided, bring your creativity and imagination.

Crisp Museum is located in the Cultural Arts Center at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus, located at 518 S. Fountain St. in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
