The World Language Department and Adult Education and Literacy/ESL Department at Cape Girardeau Central High School have organized this event to enlarge and improve Central students' understanding of the world, to serve as a showcase for diversity in the community and to link academic learning with the outside world by discovering other cultures and civilizations. All Central students, faculty and staff, other schools in the Cape area, parents and the community are invited to come meet international students from the AEL/ESL department. Students will show displays about their home countries, and artifacts such as folk arts and utensils will be on display.
