Past: Noon Optimist Hope for Kids 5K Run/Walk

The Noon Optimist Club is hosting a "Hope for Run/Walk" Saturday, April 11th at the Legion Field in the City Park at Jackson. Opening ceremonies begin at 7:15 a.m. with the run starting at 7:30 a.m. The 5K run/walk helps to support children and their families with a devastating illnesses that have outstanding medical bills. The Club's motto is "Bringing Out the Best in Kids" and the money raised with help in easing their burden. The course is on a blacktop road with some paved trails through out the park. Registration forms can be found at Southeast Healthpoint, Dalton Florist and the Cash Book Journal office. Or you can register online at the Jackson Noon Optimist Face Book page or Active.com. There is also registration the day of the race at the Legion Field Park. Pre-registration packets, which include a t-shirt in a goodie bag, can be picked up from Healthpoint on the Friday prior to race day during regular business hours.
