Past: Celebrate Earth Day With Bugs
Bollinger County Museum of Natural History
Celebrate Earth Day with Bugs
Bugs are an important part of our ecosystem. Come to the Bollinger County Museum of Natural History on Saturday, April 18, at 2pm. We'll be talking all about insects. Then we'll make dragonflies and other bugs out of clay. Take home your creations, and if you like, you can paint them at home after they dry. Program is open to all ages.
Come early and enjoy our bug activities in the play and discover area and a museum exhibit bug hunt.
The museum will be open from noon-4:30p.m. Ann's bug program will take place from 2-3pm.
While you are here check out the big bugs crawling up our walls. These life-size replicas from the past are on display downstairs in the geology room.
Regular admission to the museum allows you all the extra activities of the day.
Museum Admission: Adults $5 and 17 years and under $2
