Past: Filter's Fund 5K Major Garrett Knowlan Memorial Walk/Run

This 5K is intended to honor/remember Major Garrett Knowlan-hometown Jackson. Major Knowlan was killed October 11, 2012, during water survival training. He was a Test Pilot Engineer at the time of his death. The run/walk will take place in Jackson, MO - JHS soccer training run course. 'Filter' was Garrett's call sign. Garrett loved God, his family and his country. He gave of himself to many charitable organizations while he was here. One of his favorite charities was Compassion International. All donations from this event will be given to Compassion International and the Major Garrett Knowlan Scholarship Fund.
