Conservation Kids: Snow Candy

Registration period: January 31 - February 21

Celebrate the sweetness of winter as we turn maple syrup into candy. We will read an excerpt from the Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder to learn about the sugaring process and why trees make sap. Then we will get a chance to make our own maple candy and have a sugar on snow party! Feel free to come dressed in your favorite pioneer era attire.
