A new paint-for-a-cause mural has begun. VisitCape and Painted Wren Art Gallery have joined forces to bring you The Blues Highway Mural. This mural celebrates 100 years of Highway 61, also known as the Blues Highway. The historic highway begins in New Orleans, Lousiana and ends in Wyoming, Minnesota. As with previous paint-for-a-cause murals, anyone, any age, and any ability can participate at Painted Wren during business hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 1-6 p.m. Local artists, Barb Bailey and Aaron Horrell will guide each painter in the very easy process. Painting needs to be completed by mid-October and the completed mural will hang in the VisitCape office.
