Past: Cape Marketeers Club at Riverfront Market

The Cape Marketeers Club begins its 3rd year at the Cape Riverfront Market with an activity called “If it’s Green It’s Good” where “Marketeers” will explore green vegetables and the benefits of eating them.

The Marketeers Club is a free educational program for kids ages 5 - 12 that takes place the 2nd and 4th Saturdays May through August from 8 a.m. until noon. Kids earn $2 in market tokens each time they participate to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at the market.

This program emphasizes the importance of fresh, local food and teaches children about nutrition, science and growing food through hands-on demonstrations and activities.
