We'll explore the classics that made cinema what it is, foreign gems for the subtitle enthusiast, and cult favorites that found their people. The first screening features the beloved 1977 high-octane action comedy "Smokey and the Bandit." Somewhere between Texarkana and Atlanta, a refrigerated truck full of Coors beer becomes the most important cargo in cinematic history. Is it high art? Negative. Is it one of the most purely fun movies ever made? We have a big 10-4 on that, good buddy. Pick up a Diablo sandwich and a Dr. Pepper when you arrive (available for purchase while supplies last), and tuck in to a delightfully anarchic romp with Burt, Sally, and Jackie.
