Past: Mike Zito and The Wheel at The Old Feed Store

We’re excited to have Mike and his band The Wheel at The Old Feed Store! A premiere slide, blues and electric guitarist and songwriter, Mikes energy and experiences have molded him into one of the best performers in his genre.

Mike Zito & the Wheel bring Bluesy Texas rock to Southern Illinois. Mike grew up in St Louis and live for awhile in Cape Girardeau before moving to Texas so this is sort of a home coming for Mike don’t miss this show. This is a early evening show on Sunday May 17 @ 6:00 pm.

Mike Zito And The Wheel: Songs From The Road captures the push ‘n’ pull between Mike and his all-star lineup of Jimmy Carpenter (sax/vocals), Scot Sutherland (bass/vocals), Lewis Stephens (piano/organ) and Rob Lee (drums/percussion). “With the guys in The Wheel,” explains the bandleader, “we’re all on the same page. We’re not interested in solos, we want to play together.”
