Past: Frank the Fighter Step Up Challenge

Meet at the bottom of Commonpleas Courthouse steps in downtown Cape Girardeau for a 15 minute step challenge. You'll have 15 minutes to do as many steps as you can. There will be a winner in each age bracket. Waves of 15 will start at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $20. Add a t-shirt for an additional $10 and add a shirt and sweatband for $20. The funds raised will go to help the NICU at Childrens' Hospital in St. Louis. Frank the Fighter Step Challenge was started by his parents, Rachel and Trae. Frank was born weighing 4 lbs. 7 oz. on Oct. 12, 2014. He was taken to the NICU at Childrens' Hospital with a heart defect plus many other diagnoses. He lost his fight on Oct. 29.
