Past: Scott City Summerfest

The Scott City Parks and Recreation Department will hold the 39th Summerfest with a weekend filled with events. Thursday night is kids night and there will be two bands playing Janie Brown and the Chestnut Mountain Gang and Jordan's Tide. Music starts at 6 p.m. There will be carnival rides and games for children with armbands available for $15 each night. The children's pageant and washer's tournament will be held Friday night. The talent show will start at 4:30 p.m. and after the talent show, Paragon takes the stage. There will be fireworks at 10 p.m. Saturday.
