Bariatric surgery is a lifelong commitment and lifestyle change and requires support from family, friends and peers. Saint Francis Medical Center’s Weight Loss Solutions team is available to assist you throughout your weight loss journey and encourage those who have had surgery, or thinking about surgery, to participate in a support group.

Weight Loss Solutions offers both an in-person monthly support group every third Thursday of the month from 6-7 pm at the Cancer Conference Room at Saint Francis Medical Center. Take the elevator to the third floor, go straight, follow the signs to the end of the hall and turn right. The conference room will be on the left.

This support group is a valuable resource for our surgical weight-loss patients. Our meetings offer educations, encouragement and support to help patients reach and maintain their optimum weight loss. They also provide insight for our patient supporters and information for those interested in learning more about the surgical treatment of obesity. Meetings are open to the public.
