Past: Friedheim Fun Fest

The 16th annual Friedheim Fun Fest will be July 11 across from Trinity Lutheran Church. This year's Fun Fest is being held for Teri Ruch and the annual Waylon Friese Scholarship. The first $1,000 raised will go to the scholarship, and the remainder to the Ruch family. Teri Ruch is battling leukemia, and the donations will help the family with their medical bills.

The Fun Fest will begin with a volleyball tournament at 9 a.m. at the ballfield at Trinity Lutheran Church. To register or for more information, contact Lindsay Berry at 573-846-7363 or Allen Zoellner at 450-5470.

The evening activities will begin with live music and a potluck supper set to start at 6 p.m. Attendees should bring a meat, vegetable or dessert dish, plus drinks and a lawn chair. Table service will be provided.

An auction will begin at 7 p.m. Items will be accepted that day, but a call in advance to Mary Friese at 573-788-2143 is appreciated.
