Past: Run-Ride for Ragan

SoutheastHEALTH Cancer Center

We are very excited to announce the 3rd Annual Run-Ride for Ragan, which will take place at 8:00 a.m. on September 26, 2015 at the SoutheastHEALTH Cancer Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Over $15,000 was raised at the last event to provide breast cancer services, such as mammograms, for underserved women in Cape Girardeau and the surrounding area. The event is dedicated to the memory of Ragan Ward Neilson, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert L. Ward, who at the age of 32, lost her battle with breast cancer in 2007. This tragedy is mirrored across the nation as more and more young women are diagnosed with this disease. Ragan’s perseverance was a powerful testimony. She never lost hope, and always presented a positive and generous spirit in spite of the fierce struggle. Please join us in commemorating Ragan’s admirable character and life as well as the courageous spirit of countless women who have faced this disease. This year we are pleased to partner with SoutheastHEALTH as part of their Bravest Wear Pink Campaign to raise money for women’s services in our area….someone you may know. We ask for your financial support of the 3rd Annual Run-Ride for Ragan. You can MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
