Past: Splash Out Hunger event

SEMO Food Bank will host a community food drive with three drop-off locations: Walmart in Cape Girardeau, Schnucks in Cape Girardeau and the Osage Centre in Cape Girardeau. Food items collected will be distributed to local food pantries in Cape Girardeau. Then head to Cape Splash for the Splash out Hunger Wild Water Event. Money raised from this event will be for the Backpacks for Friday Program. There will be games, prizes and a silent auction. General admission is $10 and VIP admission is $15, which includes a Cape Splash ticket, t-shirt and bracelet. To order tickets in advance, please call Missy Rice at (573) 471-1818.
