Past: SEMO District Fair - Sept. 12

The antique tractor pull sponsored by Egypt Mills Tractor Club will be held at 8:30 a.m. at the grandstand. The fair parade will start at 9:30 a.m. at Capaha Park, taking Broadway to Kingshighway and then left into Arena Park. Washers tournaments (singles) will be held at 11 a.m. and doubles at 1 p.m. at the American Legion Pavilion. Lowery Carnival will have $25 wristbands noon to 5 p.m. Juding of 4-H poultry, rabbits and guinea pigs will be at 1 p.m. in the poultry tent. Bingo will be held 1 to 3 p.m. in the activities tent. Hyper Dogz - The Ultimate Canines will be held 2:30, 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. at the north fairgrounds. Woody's Wildlife Expo & Racing Pigs will be held 3, 5 and 7 p.m. at the south fairgrounds. The draft horse and mule obstacle course will be held at 4 p.m. Karaoke contest, junior division, will be held 4 to 5 p.m. in the activities tent. The senior draft horse/mule hitch challenge will be held at 4:30 p.m. at ballfield 7. Karaoke contest, intermediate division, will be held 5 to 6 p.m. and the senior division will be held 6 to 6:30 p.m. in the activities tent. The duet karaoke contest will be held 6:30 to 7 p.m. in the activities tent. The Auto Tire & Parts NAPA Dual Demo Derby will held at 7 p.m. at the grandstand.
