Past: Youth Sports Parents Clinic

Saint Francis Medical Center will host this free event to help parents learn how to develop and nurture their child's athletic performance, create positive memories and show respect from the perspective of young people. Keynote speaker will be Rob Miller from ProActive Coaching who will discuss "The role of parents in athletics," using his real-world short stories to connect his audience to his sportsmanship message proving the power parents have to influence their student athletes. Dr. Heidi Hunter, physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at Saint Francis, will discuss idenfitication and treatment of concussions and conclude with a question-and-answer session.
