Missouri Preservation annually recognizes the host city’s people and projects that have contributed to the preservation of Missouri’s rich and diverse collection of historic resources. These one-time only awards highlight the significant contributions that have helped create a preservation legacy in the host city. Those to be honored during the evening’s festivities include Southeast Missouri State University for its restoration of Academic Hall and renovations at the River Campus; The Glenn House Museum for ongoing years of interpreting this historic site; Drs. Mary Ann and Bert Kellerman for their leadership in fostering a preservation ethic in southeast Missouri; The Southeast Missourian for its early tax credit project in the renovation of its downtown offices; Old Town Cape for its exemplary leadership in downtown revitalization; and finally to Dr. Frank Nickell for his many years of leadership at the local and academic level through teaching, public involvement and fostering an interest in regional history.

Tickets are $30 each or a table of 8 is $400. Contact Old Town Cape, 573-334-8085 or 418 Broadway, to purchase your tickets.
