Past: Holiday Happening in Uptown Jackson

The Uptown Jackson Revitalization Organization is hosting Holiday Happening's in Uptown Jackson Dec. 5th from 3:30 to 9 p.m. This event will include a 1 mile Christmas Pajama Fun Run starting at 4:20 kick off the Christmas Parade at 4:30. Uptown Jackson Merchants will be offering great Holiday Specials beginning at 3:30-9:00pm that includes giving out cookies, hot cocoa and discounts in their stores. Santa and his elves will be in the parade and available for pictures, so bring a good camera. Also, all of those who attend will get to vote on their favorite decorated window of the participating business in Uptown Jackson and have a chance to win a shopping spree valued more than $500. There will be Christmas story telling at the Cape Girardeau History Center at 5:30, Christmas Carolers and much, much, more.
