Jenny Johnson Band: Jenny Johnson is an Americana, soul-singing, guitar-picking, singer-songwriter of her own tunes from the backwoods of Southern Illinois. Her songs and style produce a powerful and engaging performance that can stir your soul, move your feet or lighten your heart with every tune. She performs with the musical group the Jenny Johnson Band featuring Janis Esch on guitar and vocals, Toby Merriman on fiddle and vocals, Alex Pape on accordion, and Nate Graham on upright bass and vocals. Their dynamic, upbeat sound thrills audiences and together they will release a brand new album of all original songs in spring 2016.

Jenny has created a style all her own through an amalgam of bluegrass, soul, ragtime, jazz and folk music. In 2014 she released her debut solo album, Torch Ditties, recorded entirely at the Old Feed Store to include additional live tracks. The band recently filmed the pilot episode for a new PBS series showcasing Southern Illinois musicians entitled, Little Egypt Live, aired in the summer of 2015. Jenny has played festivals and concerts with the likes of Jason Isbell, Joan Jett, Marshall Tucker Band, Marshall Crenshaw, Cedric Burnside, Joseph Huber, Chucky Waggs, Chicago Farmer, Town Mountain, The Woodbox Gang and is featured on the Woodbox album, Glorious Scars. Look out for them as they tour around the U.S. country-side this summer 2016.

Evan Webb: Evan Webb & the Rural Route Ramblers is a five-piece, hard-driving, country band based out of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. As much as they are a band of musicians with diverse musical backgrounds, they are a collection of shared experiences, grown and cultivated in the small towns, farm fields, honky-tonks, and bars where they came of age. Hailing from Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, and Western Kentucky, they bring the voice of the Heartland to the stage and studio: country & western, red dirt, and American rock & roll.

At a live show, you’re sure to hear a new and honest take on some traditional favorites, as well several heartworn originals telling the stories of living, loving, and losing in the places that they call home. The band is currently hard at work in the studio, turning those originals into new favorites. Whether your first experience with Evan Webb & the Rural Route Ramblers is at a show, or in your truck driving down the road, they’re going to do their best to make sure you walk away a fan.
