Experience an explosion of color at the SEMO Iris Society Flower show! The theme is ‘Rainbows in the Garden’ and attendees can enjoy flowers in every color of the rainbow. The show is open to the public on Saturday, May 7, from 12:00 noon to 6 p.m., and Sunday, May 8, from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., and will be held at the West Park Mall in Cape Girardeau. Anyone is welcome to enter an iris in the show; registration is from 8:00-9:00 on Saturday, and judging begins at 10:00 a.m. Exhibitors will include local gardeners and hybridizers, including hybridizer David Niswonger, recently featured in the Missouri Gardener magazine. Attendance is free! Don’t miss this fantastic Mother’s Day weekend event!
