Past: Country Quilts & Memories

Country Quilts & Memories will be presented by the Alexander County Tourism Group on June 4th, Saturday at the Egyptian School. The event begins at 10.00 a.m. Quilts on display will showcase the skills of local quilters. Quilts maybe hung on Friday afternoon between 1 to 4 p.m. and on Saturday morning between 7 and 10 a.m. Cost to enter a quilt, sign up as a vendor will be $10. Cost to visitors will also be $10. Lunch will be provided. Quilts will be judged in the following categories: Best of Show will receive $100. The best hand stitched and the best machine quilt will receive $50.
