Past: St. Andrew School Festival

The 37th annual Saint Andrew’s School Festival will take place on the Saint Andrew’s parish grounds in Murphysboro, IL, on August 12th and 13th from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m..

The festival kicks off with an all you can eat fish fry from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and fried chicken and chicken and dumplings on Saturday.

Friday night will see performances by the bands Lewis Creek from 5 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Chris Slone from 7:00 to 11 p.m. On Saturday, enjoy performances by Honey & Tar starting at 4:00 p.m. and We Got it Covered from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Other events scheduled for the weekend include a silent auction with pre-bidding for items starting on the Festival’s Facebook page (Facebook.com/StAndrewSchoolFestival) on August 6th. There will be Bingo both evenings in the school cafeteria, and games and inflatables for kids. Admission to the St. Andrew’s School Festival is free both days, with sponsorships from local businesses.
