Past: Party in the Rose Garden 2016

A celebration in the Capaha Park Rose Garden, preceding the Cape Girardeau Municipal Band concert. Sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Council of Garden Clubs. Stroll through the roses, view an exhibition of photos from garden archives presented by CoCo Reed of Radiant Reflections Studio. Music by Hand-Picked, strolling musicians. Event honors the 1953 founding of the rose garden, chaired by Mrs. Arla Harris and Mrs. Gladys Stiver.The garden is maintained by garden club members, Parks and Recreation Department and the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. Free admission.
