Past: Murder Mystery Dinner-"'Til Death Do Us Part"

The Mayfield Cultural Center

The Mayfield Cultural Center is proud to present "'Til Death Do Us Part," a fundraiser Murder Mystery Dinner featuring the Iron Mountain Players, July 9th at 7pm. The Iron Mountain Players perform regularly on the train in Jackson and will be bringing their own brand of wacky entertainment here to the Mayfield Cultural Center once again. The last Murder Mystery Dinner sold out and seating is limited so please call ahead for reservations, as this show will also sell out. The performance will be on the stage in the Chapel on the first floor, food will be provided by the Mayfield Cafe. Tickets include dinner and show. Reservations are required.

The story line for this event is the craziest wedding you have ever attended. Two pig farmers are determined to see their children married off; Imajean refuses to get hitched unless Elvis sings at the wedding and Jim Bob is in it for the promise of his own farm. Relatives and towns folk are all coming to see the two get married, betting all the while that it will never happen. Anything that could go wrong will, including a shocking death! Dinner will be served at the start of the show and includes drinks and dessert.

The Mayfield Cultural Center, a project of the Will Mayfield Heritage Foundation, is located at 209 Mayfield Drive. The Mayfield Café and the Mayfield Cultural Center are open Thursday through Sunday from 11am until 3pm. Many functions of the 501(c)3 non profit organization are run by volunteers and may require an appointment. To make reservations or purchase tickets you can reach them at (573) 238-8515 during regular business hours. The Mayfield Cultural Center can also be found on facebook. Admission for the July 9 event is $20, doors open at 6:30 pm.
