Past: Song Stories with Cory King

the Mayfield Cultural Center

The Mayfield Cultural Center proudly presents Cory King, Saturday, August 13, at 7pm. We all have a story. And for people like local pianist Cory King, those stories are best told through music. Join Cory for an intimate journey through some of his favorite piano music - from classical to modern, original to improvised. Hear the stories behind the songs and how the music has shaped Cory's own life story. Tickets are $20 and includes a fabulous dessert reception. The Mayfield Café will be open two hours prior to the show for dinner and is located on the second floor, the concert will be in the Chapel on the main level. Please call (573) 238-8515 for tickets or more information. Reservations required for the show only.

The Will Mayfield Heritage Foundation houses the Bollinger County Museum of Natural History and the Mayfield Cultural Center in the last two remaining buildings of the former Will Mayfield College (Mayfield-Smith Academy 1884-1903) in Marble Hill. The Mayfield Cultural Center is a project of the Will Mayfield Heritage Foundation, and is located at 209 Mayfield Drive. Both the Museum and Cultural Center are run almost entirely by volunteers, donations from the public, and rely on the generosity of the communities they serve.
