Past: Stop Needless Acts of Violence ( S.N.A.P) Prayer March

We have organized a Stop the Violence Prayer March for July 30 starting at 9 a.m., our goal is to have 1,000 friends, neighbors, and concerned citizens walking with the mothers against killings in the streets of south Cape Girardeau. The prayer walk will begin at Indian Park (William and Lorimier) and end at Ranney Park (Frederick and Willow). The prayer route will follow a path where senseless acts of violence have taken place. Speakers will be Pastor Byron Bonner with Trune Vine Ministry and Seth Bauman, director of Community Engagement. Music will be provided by Robin Twiggs with Mid-America Teen Challenge. We hope you will prayerfully consider joining us for this very important event and that you will also share this information with your family, friends, and congregation members. We want to fill the streets of Cape Girardeau with prayer warriors that will bring God’s Peace back to the neighborhoods.
