Past: Veteran's Day Extravaganza

The Venue in Cape Girardeau is planning a huge event for Veteran's Day weekend. There will be vendors that have all kinds of resources that will help our Veterans in the tri-state area. There will be someone from our local colleges and places like Missouri Career Center and Catholic Charities that can help Vets find jobs and places to live along with booths for Wellness. It will also be a huge party. Chris Stouts, co-founder of the Veteran's Community Project in Kansas City will be guest speaker at 6 p.m. Friday and Bruce Zimmerman will be on stage at 8 p.m. Friday. Walt's Sound will provide music at 1 p.m. Saturday. Dr. Fever and the Venus Flytrap will play at 8 p.m. on Saturday. There will be children's patriotic march at 1 p.m. Sunday and the Jerry Ford Orchestra will play at 3 p.m. Sunday. There will also be food and tons of giveaways.
