Past: Trinity Assembly of God Homecoming 2016

Every September in the small Southern Illinois community of Olive Branch, Trinity Assembly of God Church celebrates its homecoming. It is a time when members of the church, both past and present, commemorate the church's founding as a body that took place on Sept. 4, 1921. This year is the 95th anniversary! "It's a special time to reflect on how far the church has come in ninety-five years of existence." Clardy became the church's pastor 6 years ago making this upcoming celebration his seventh homecoming, a welcome opportunity to listen to other members share memories of the church's earliest days. Our church is a place where people who are hurt can be helped and touched. One of the great testimonies to be truly saying you're [the church] is a body of Christ is by showing it, by helping people and loving people and being there for them in hard times." Trinity Assembly of God Church will celebrate 95 years in Olive Branch, Ill. today with regular services followed by a potluck dinner, fellowship and a FREE gospel sing with Steve Hess and Southern Salvation on Sun, Sept.4 at 2 PM.

Steve Hess & Southern Salvation is one of southern gospel music’s most exciting groups. The group consists of Baritone / Steve Hess, Lead /Jay Arview and Tenor / John McCall, the life experiences of these men include working with some of the best known names in music.

The guys truly believe God has brought them together for this time. The group has enjoyed several top 80 Southern Gospel Hit Songs; they were recently honored with the Volunteerism Award from the office of the President of the United States for their work with storm victims around the country, they were thrilled to be the featured Artist on Paul Heil's world wide iconic radio show "The Gospel Greats" and continue to tour over 200 dates a year.
