Past: Mother's Brewing Company's SIXTH EVER Oktoberfest in the Ozarks

Mother’s Brewing Company continues its tradition of celebrating German beer heritage—Ozarks style—with its SIXTH EVER Oktoberfest in the Ozarks. On Saturday, September 10, beer and music lovers from around the Midwest are invited to join Mother’s in the brewery’s spacious back yard at 215 S. Grant Ave., Springfield, MO, for a day of music, food, gemütlichkeit and beer.

The beer will be flowing from 1:00 to 7:00 pm, with gates opening at 12:30. Admission is $10 at the gate with no charge for children 15 and under. Revelers are encouraged to bring camp chairs or blankets. No need to check the forecast: rain or shine, it will be fine. Parking is available in the Grant Ave. lot just east of the brewery with two downtown parking garages only a two-block walk away. While Mother’s usually welcomes Fido, please leave pets at home for this event.

Under the Munich-style beer tent, local legends The Garbonzos will bring the traditional oom-pah between sets on the main stage from Bryan Wilkinson, Me Like Bees, and Shawn James & the Shapeshifters.

FireLight Pizza Company, Galloway Station, and Horrmann Meat Company will be dishing out vittles for the hungry.

From a traditional Munich-style Oktoberfest Märzen lager to a hop forward American IPA, thirsty festival goers will have a heady selection of Mother’s beers both in the tasting room and at two outdoor beer stations. Beer tokens will be purchased for $5 and can be used for beer, soda, water, or festival merchandise.
