The Johnson County Junque Jamboree

The Johnson County Junque Jamboree will be on Saturday September 24, 2016, in Vienna, Illinois. For over five years this has been a twice yearly event drawing people from the four state region. There is no admission charge.

The Jamboree brings vendors to Vienna who will be selling a large variety of goods -- antiques, primitives, signs, arts and craft items, etc. If you are looking for the unusual antique or decorative piece, this is the place to come. Past Junque Jamborees have proven to treasure hunters that this is the event to attend. One hundred and fifty vendors will be on hand and have their booths set up around the historic Vienna public square.

The many antiques shops and malls on the public square also will be open that day. Come early and plan to spend some time shopping in Vienna. The public square is located next to Illinois State Route 146 and about a half mile West of Interstate 24. The vendors and shops will open at 7:00 AM and be open until 3:00 PM.

Special food vendor "Bear" Park will be on hand with his famous BBQ. Visit this famous "on air personality" and try his good food. A day long 50/50 raffle will be conducted for the benefit of the Grand Theater restoration project, so buy some tickets to help a good cause.

Many new vendors will be on hand this year along with many who have returned each year with their outstanding treasures. No telling what you may find this year!
