Past: Cape Marketeers Club at the Shawnee Park Community Garden

Children ages 5-12 are invited to participate in a free garden and nutrition activity led by Ann Knight from the University of Missouri Extension. Kids will have the opportunity to dig sweet potatoes, learn about their nutritional benefits and taste them in a delicious snack. After participating in the activity, kids will receive $5 in tokens to purchase fruits and vegetables from the Cape Riverfront Market.
