Past: SEMO District Fair - Day 1

The fair parade will be held at 9:30 a.m., starting at Capaha Park, up Broadway to Kingshighway, right to Arena Park. There will be free bingo in the activities tent 1 to 3 p.m. The karaoke contest will be held in the activities tent. Junior division will be held 4 to 5 p.m.; intermediate division will be 5 to 6 p.m.; senior division will be 6 to 6:30 p.m. and the duet division will be 6:30 to 7 p.m. The antique tractor pull which is open to all contestants will be produced by Egypt Mills Antique Tractor Club. Admission is free. The Auto Tire & Parts Dual Demo Derby will be held at 7 p.m. in the grandstand. Tickets are $15 and $20. The dual derby is produced by Thunder Valley Promotions. A washers tournament - singles event will be held at 11 a.m. and the team event will be at 1 p.m., both in the American Legion Pavilion. 4-H poultry, rabbits, guinea pigs judging will be held at 1 p.m. in the poultry tent. Senior draft horse/mule hitch challenge will be held at 4:30 p.m. at ball field 7. Woodys Menagerie and Circus of Wildlife show will held at the south fairgrounds. Kenny Ahern and Family Fun will be located at the north fairgrounds. Marcos the Juggler, a juggler, strolling magician, stiltwalker, fire eater and unicycle rider will be at the fairgrounds Saturday and Sunday.
