Past: Swinton Christian Church Reunion

Swinton Christian Church will hold its annual basket dinner and annual sermon at noon. The church was organized and the building was constructed in 1904, but in early 2000, it underwent extensive repairs. Some of the original members of the church included members of the Bess, Martin, Frye, Cox and Swindell families that lived in the Swinton area. Descendants of those families still live in and around Stoddard County. Former members, families, residents of the area, neighbors and friends are cordially invited to attend. The meeting will begin with a basket dinner. Immediately following will be gospel singing presented by Harold and Toni Wheatley and the Ringer Hill Singers. The Rev. Charles Woodard will preach the annual sermon.
