Plowsharing crafts is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide vital, fair income to artisans in developing countries by selling their handicrafts and sharing their stories. Artisans in over 40 countries, who would otherwise be unemployed or underemployed, receive income which helps pay for food, education, health care & housing.

This 5th annual Plowshares Sale will include jewelry, accessories, baskets, interesting home decor, food items, Christmas items, just to name a few of the crafts which will be available.

One of the product lines carried by Plowshares supports the Women's Bean Project, Denver, CO. Women's Bean Project is a social enterprise that employs chronically impoverished women through transitional jobs in gourmet food manufacturing to receive immediate income and helps them earn the job readiness, interpersonal & life skills needed to overcome barriers to employment; creating a new future for themselves, their families, our community and our economy. Products include mixes for bean soupS, coffee, chili, cookies, candies & brownies, corn bread, dips, mixes, salsas, gluten-free items & more. The mission Bean Project's goal is to change women's lives by providing stepping stones to self-sufficiency through social enterprise.
