Past: LaunchU Entrepreneurship Training

LaunchU is a 5-week course that coaches aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs through business planning, pitching, and tracking financials to ensure their business is feasible. Participants benefit from instruction by a certified facilitator, small group activities, local experts as guest speakers, a Startup Handbook, and a 3-month license for LivePlan, the cloud-based business planning software.

When: Jan. 30 - March 1 every Mon. & Wed. from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Where: Computer Lab at SEMO Campus in Sikeston

Plan & Pitch Prizes: First place will be awarded a startup assistance package including a $375 cash prize from First State Bank and Trust Company, Inc. and a marketing package from BOLD Marketing valued at $4,225. Second place will receive a $375 cash prize.
