Flourish Magazine, the Southeast Missourian and rustmedia host one-day event celebration of the women who live and work in southeast Missouri, Keynote speaker is Adrienne Ross, author of an illustrated book of humorous quotations and stories "#Aunt Alma: Raising a Little Hell Heaven on Earth." She is also the owner of Adrienne Ross Communications through which she works as a speaker, writer and entrepreneur. Small-group session topics will include health and wellness, entrepreneurship, community involvement and education. Scheduled presenters and panelists include Crystal Jones, director of Economic and Business Engagement Center; Sandy Hastings, owner of SERVPRO of Cape Girardeau and Scott counties; Laurie Everett, owner of Annie Laurie's Antiques, The Indie House and Everett Property Management; Jeanne Muckerman, Realtor with Realty executives; Felice Robertson, founder of Stop Needless Acts of Violence Please; Dr. Barbara Kohlfeld, principal at Blanchard Elementary School and Jalon Lies, principal at Cape Christian School. New this year is personal safety training with Cody Windbigler of the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
