Bollinger County Museum of Natural History

Celebrate St. Patrick's weekend at the Bollinger County Museum of Natural History in Marble Hill, on Saturday, March 18. Participate in our annual Treasure Hunt, decode the secret message, and win a prize. Enjoy games, crafts, and activities from 12 to 4 p.m. Have fun building with Lego blocks in our play area.

Enjoy exhibits of dinosaurs, Ice Age, Tom Runnels sculptures and paintings, Civil War, Native American, wildlife taxidermy mounts, and other exhibits. See examples of the humble origins of the radio, a device that revolutionized the sharing of information and entertainment.

Explore the touch table and touch trunks. Feel dinosaur teeth, claws, and skin!

The Bollinger County Museum of Natural History, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, is located at 207 Mayfield Drive in Marble Hill. The museum is housed in the Art & Science building of the former Will Mayfield College. This architectural treasure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visit the museum for the exciting natural history exhibits and savor the historical architecture.

The museum will be open 12:00p.m. (Noon) to 4:30p.m.

Regular admission will include all the extra activities of the day.

Museum admission: Adults $5 each and 17 years and under $2
