Past: Free Community Garden Tour

Come and enjoy an afternoon exploring some of the most beautiful gardens in Cape Girardeau! Gardens include the Historic Capaha Park Rose Garden, Charles Nemanick Garden at Southeast Missouri State University, Shawnee Park Center Community Garden, Red House Interpretive Center Garden, Historic Oliver House.These are just some of the gardens in and around Cape Girardeau that have beautiful plants, flowers and stories to tell. Volunteers will be available to answer your questions about growing vegetables, gorgeous flowers, native plants, herbs, and heirlooms. Pick up a map to all the gardens at any Cape Parks and Recreation Center after May 2. Refreshments and give aways will be available while supplies last.
