Past: SEMO Iris Society Flower Show and Photograph Contest

Find fun for the whole family at the SEMO Iris Society Flower Show! The theme is "Nursery Rhymes" and attendees can enjoy arrangements that depict favorites such as Little Boy Blue and Little Red Riding Hood. On display will be irises of all sizes, varieties, and colors. The show is open to the public from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 6, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at West Park Mall in Cape Girardeau. Anyone is welcome to enter an iris in the show; registration is from 8 to 9 a.m. on Saturday and judging begins at 10 a.m.

Amateur photographers take note! The SEMO Iris Society will incorporate a photograph contest in their annual Flower Show. Categories for entry are "Iris – Single Bloom" and "Iris – Landscape." Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners!

Photographs are to be displayed at the SEMO Iris Society show. Any amateur photographer is welcome to enter a photograph in the show; registration is from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday and judging begins at 10 a.m.
