Past: 5th Annual Poker Run and Cook Off Competition

American Legion Post 114 Sikeston is holding its 5th Annual Poker Run and Barbeque Cookoff Competition. All proceeds go directly to the State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri. This event is being held June 2 and 3, 2017. Friday June 2 events include a Bean Bag Toss with registration beginning at 5:00 and play beginning at 7:15. Ultimate Flooring Wing War Competition is also held on Friday evening. Saturday June 3 events include a Poker Run with registration beginning at 8 a.m. and bikes out at 10 a.m. Royal Oaks Cook Off competition will be held all day Saturday with different categories and a $1000 grand prize and other money amounts in each category. There will also be an auction. A meal will be served beginning at 5 p.m. until food runs out. The meats from the competition will be used for the meals. A live band will be playing on the parking lot with a beer garden in the evening.

This is all for our veterans. They deserve a beautiful final resting place. In our previous four years we have raised over $60,000. Please come out, enjoy the day and help our veterans. Call (573) 703-6646 for more information.
