Past: 2017 Farm Day

The Scott County Women in Agriculture wiil hold Farm Day. This is a program for third grade students who live in Scott County. There are two sessions, 9 to 11 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m. There will be exhibitors including Kelly FFA with a puppet show about farm safety and ATV/helmet safety and grain bin/auger safety; SEMO Electric with electrical safety; Grant Gillard on bees; Scott County Farm Bureau on agricultural products grown in Scott County; NRCS about plants; SEMO Milling about corn and NRCS about soil erosion tables. Goody bags of items are given to teachers for future studies in the classroom.
