Past: Strawberry Festival and Home, Garden & Gift Show

The Mayfield Cultural Center

This weekend the Mayfield Cultural Center will host its first annual Strawberry Festival and Home, Garden & Gift Show on Saturday, May 6, from 10 am to 3 pm. The event is free and celebrates strawberries and their history in Bollinger County. A display of historical data, photos and journal entries will chronicle the areas commerce of strawberries, fruits and produce on the first floor of the 1884 school house.

Join us indoors in the Chapel for the Home, Garden & Gift Show as local artists and vendors display art, crafts, jewelry, scrap booking, handmade soap & body products, baked goods and more! Admission is free. Shop local arts, crafts, and gifts just in time for Mother's Day and graduation and enjoy a variety of delicious strawberry desserts!

The Mayfield Cultural Center is housed in the former Will Mayfield College (1878-1934) and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located next door to the Bollinger County Museum of Natural History, home of the Missouri dinosaur!
