Past: Poems on Fire Poetry Slam!

A literary and performative genre, slam poetry weaves words and high-energy performance into a powerful message. Poets, come perform your original slam poetry in the Poems on Fire Poetry Slam.

Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. Only the first 10 poets to register will be entered. Round 1 begins at 6 p.m. There will be three rounds, no elimination. Poets must read a different, original poem for each round. It is recommended that poems take no longer than three minutes to read. Total points from all three rounds will determine the winners.
