Past: Free Back to School Fair

The second annual Back to School Fair will be held Tuesday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tiger Field House in the Cape Girardeau Junior High School, 205 Caruthers Avenue. Families with students in Pre-K through 12th grade from all area schools are invited to attend.

In addition to providing registration for free school supplies, the fair will offer many resources for families, including free immunizations, dental screenings, and health insurance counseling. Free hotdogs, pizza, chips, and ice cream will be provided along with many fun activities for all ages. Various door prizes and items will be given away, such as baby wipes, school supplies, and coupons for haircuts.

Attendees are encouraged to park in the Middle School and Junior High parking lots, on the

streets and at Grace Methodist Church. Due to construction, volunteers and signs will be out to

assist students and families on where to go.
