Past: Lunch & Learn Program

Tri-State Advertising and Marketing Professionals will give attendees to its monthly Lunch & Learn program on Tuesday, July 18, an overview of the kinds of experiential learning happening at Southeast Missouri State’s Rust Center for Media. Students and faculty in the Department of Mass Media at Southeast have been working together in their converged multimedia production center on media row now for nearly a year. Dr. Karie Hollerbach, department chairperson, will share the insights they have gained and provide a closer look at how advertising students are working collaboratively with multimedia journalism students as a case study example. In addition to the students’ award-winning work, Hollerbach will also highlight the Department’s new MacBook device initiative, Pro on the Go, followed by tours of the facility. Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m., with the program beginning at noon. The event will be held at the Rust Center for Media, 325 Broadway. Registration cost for the program, including lunch, is $15 for Tri-State AMP members, $20 for non-members and $12 for students. Register online at tristateamp.eventbrite.com.
