Past: Janie Brown & the Chestnut Mountain Gang CD Release Party

Well known local bluegrass band, Janie Brown & the Chestnut Mountain Gang, are excited to announce they have recently completed their third CD project titled "Bitterweeds", recorded at Sandy Ridge Studio in Morley, Mo.

In response to requests from many of their fans and friends, the group recorded the new project last fall, including 12 cuts; a mix of traditional, gospel and instrumental numbers.

Whether you are an old friend, new friend, fan or follower of the band, they would love for you to join them for this informal celebration, including an afternoon of endless music, starting at 1:00pm!

Drinks and light refreshments will be available, courtesy of the band!

"BITTERWEEDS" will be available for purchase, along with their first two CDs; "OLD OLD HOUSE" and "DID YOU FORGET GOD TODAY".

The group will also offer a few extra special discounts & mementos on their CD table! Bring a friend, a light snack or dessert to share, if you choose, and prepare for some fun and entertainment!

Also on hand will be Recording engineer, Doug Sikes of Sandy Ridge Recording Studio, where "the Gang" recorded "BITTERWEEDS". Meet Doug and get details on the recording services he has to offer at his new studio, now under construction in Morley, Mo.
