River Campus

The River Campus will ave viewing activities that are open to the public for the solar eclipse. Crisp Museum will open at 10 a.m. with exhibits and activities. There will be art t-shirt making and eclipse glasses distribution started at 11:30 a.m. Performances by the university marching band, Nick Kenney (solo French horn), Faculty brass quintet, dance ensemble, choirs, solo vocalists, acting monologues will begin at 11:52 a.m. The procession to the viewing location will be at 1 p.m. with the solar eclipse totality at 1:20 the 1:21 p.m. The marching band will have a finale at 1:22 p.m. You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and protective sun gear. You can also bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Solar eclipse glasses will be provided.
