Past: St. Joseph Parish Picnic

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek will hold its annual parish picnic. There will be games, a country store, fancy stand, raffles for prizes, bingo for a quilt and prizes in the air-conditioned hall starting at 5 p.m. A kettle-cooked beef and fried chicken dinner will be served 2:30 to 7 p.m. Adults are $10; Children 6 years old to 11 years old are $5 and children younger than 6 years old are free. There will also be food stands with hamburgers, fish, grilled cheese, ice cream, soda and a beer garden. The Back Street Cruisers will play for dancing 7 to 11 p.m. The Rev. Jim French will preside over a Mass at 4 p.m.
